Your FOOL of a fishkeeper asked what the "bump" was on the cichlas jaw. This is an irritation brought on by rough abuse to the area. Usually happens by netting the fish and then introducing it to a new tank. It also will come on when the fish rams the glass/decor durring feeding or times of stressful jolting.
permanent and usually is if its sevier.
It is quite common in specimens housed in small tanks. oh and a 150 IS a small tank, ESPECIALLY FOR ANY SPECIES OF CICHLA.
