Honestly flowerhorns do best by them selves unless your breeding them even then you have to divide them.

Peacock bass with large cichlids?

I have kept large severum, JD, jags, oscar, green terror, pike cichlid, and even a large mayan with 15" pbass before. All of the other fish were at /minimum/ 8", with the pike being closer to 12". The tank is a 300 gallon and very lightly srocked, no more than 10 fish total in there at any one time (right now it's 2 each jags, pbass, severums, with a catfish and bichir as ground cleanup crew).

Tank stock, 1 aro, 1 pbass, 1 taxas, 1 jag, 1 jack, 2 cats 1 clown knife 2 asain spotted plecos 350 g tank every one is happy and fights almost never happen if ever. Pbass are very cool peace full fish I use to have a red devil in there but got rid of it becuz he was a bully he would punk every one but my bass and a 16 inch Oscar I had at the time
