I'm pretty sure they are Indonesian they are super cool..right now they are in my 60 gallon grow out tank. Any tricks to get their colors to stabilize?? They are pretty small 1-1.5 inches.

Wouldn't as I don't keep them. But it's various factors. Can search the dat section. Other memebers will chime in soon about stability. Probably getting used to a new tank as well.

I think it is just time in the tank and getting used to surroundings. I actually think at that size, having additional school mates(other dats) can help.

They have been eating frozen blood worms real well. They are in a tank right now with a kelberi (3 inch) and temensis(5.5inch) peacock bass along with a delhizi bichir

Coincidentally I'm growing out 5 dats about that size and have had in my possession about 2 weeks. I would just make sure they are getting their fair share of food with the other larger tankmates. i started on blood worms but they hit pellets within about 48-72hrs(if my memory is correct) . My group is lively and have been easy to feed, so far.

I just tried feeding them some hikari carnivore pellets and they ate more than their fair share !!! I'm pretty stoked on these guys.
