These plants are water hyacinth, Eichhornia crassipes. These plants do an awesome job in removing organic compounds from the water. Did you get these to bloom? This species bears nice "orchid-looking" flowers.:naughty:

I got those plants for the reason you said.

Removing organic compounds. That is exactly what my mate said and damn they work good....

You never had problems with aggression Steve?

I was never able to keep more than 2 aro together without ragged fins and fighting.

Tried 4 baby leichardtis once, didn't work. Still ripped fins.

Its basically just trial and error once again. It may or may not work.

Aros are very hard to keep together though.
