Pretty sure this isn't a pictus due to its size must be 6 or 7 inch. Plus I've got a group of pictus in another tank which I've had for many years and the largest is like 5 inch max. Any info be greatly appreciated. IMG_20181230_164249.jpg IMG_20181230_164249.jpg

It's of the blochii group of species as evidenced by the black spot in front of the dorsal fin, probably the variable P. blochii itself.

They are confusingly marketed sometimes as a striped pictus catfish to distinguish from the spotted pictus or just pictus.

As stated it’s a blochii. Max out around a foot after years, ime they slow at 7” length wise. Not picky with food. Can be a little territorial. Not active when larger, prefers to hide.
