another thought, the test kit is new to you (6months) but could have sat on the store shelf for ages. double check the expiration dates on the bottles/kit just in case.
a little stumped otherwise. unless you were putting in water that was over 10 degrees hotter/colder than your current temp, or not conditioning the water (which you are), i'm not sure what could be causing it.
doesn't seem like it's a water issue though as your other tanks would be using the same source with no issues.

I am currently using prime to condition the water. Does that have an expiration date? the dates on the kit are fine. I am usually really careful about the water temp.

Just an update. I noticed this on my Bosemani the other day. He has this weird white thing growing on his lip. Any Ideas? Could this be some sort of parasite? the fish isn't acting any different.
