Just so your informed WPG doesnt mean anything. Because theres different light fixtures. For example compare watts of leds to florescent bulbs, you have 200watts or florescent the wpg rule means you need 200watts of led? Waaaaaaaaay to much

Thats just one example and also even something as simple as a reflector can make that rule obsolete!

Anything with high par readings and lumens needs co2 or your begging for algae.

And OP your problem was most definitely the spectrum of your bulb 2800k is perfect for algae, this is the temp i use with my algae scrubbers.

×Go S. Vettel #1 Infiniti Redbull! 4x WDC!!! Congrats on another flawless title and 9 wins back to back in 1 season (record!) See you next year in Australia boys!×

4 bulbs might be overkill but it will definitely work. If you can order some of those pink hue bulbs. And put two 6,500k and two pinks. That will help even more.

Looks good. Give it some time with the 6.5k bulbs you will see the difference in about a month or so.

In my 60G i can just about grow hair grass with 2 T8 bulbs and pressurized Co2 (albeit slow), so with 4 t8 bulbs you should be able to get away with it...
