sometime abit confuess about this name "platinum" ,for esp this so call platinum pleco doesnt look like one which is brown in colour and i saw some post posting their fish as platinum but fish look silver.saw some white aro call as platinum,silvery or light gold also call platinum....there is one white catfish with some yellow patch also call platinum....mmmmmm...how u guys judge a fish beening call platinum....

I believe the dat posted above eventually morphed into leucistic coloration.

im pretty sure leucistic = white = platinum

all the same thing.

example: Platinum senegal bichir is white with black eye which is leucistic

that one in your avatar doesn't even look like a tiger fish it looks like some king of cichlid

tigers are meant to have stripes thats what makes them look great without them they are just a normal looking fish

It's very unique, but that's about it.
