this is the 2nd time I looked at this thread and before I got to my own reply I looked at the fish and was like , "Oh it's probably a young Midas or Devil before adult coloration kicks in", then I got to my reply and I was like "What the hell was I thinking?" LOLOLOLTo me it looks nothing like a FM or even anything from the Thorichthys genus.

I suppose it could be, but I feel renegade aquatics is closer to the point, and to me, it looks more like some sort of Amphilopus or with the way things are today, another Amphilophus hybrid mutt.
