To me it looks nothing like a FM or even anything from the Thorichthys genus.
Below are some F1 Lake Nicaraguan Astatheros longimanus .
I suppose it could be, but I feel renegade aquatics is closer to the point, and to me, it looks more like some sort of Amphilopus or with the way things are today, another Amphilophus hybrid mutt.

It's definitely not a thorichthys. IMO some sort of amph.like chancho. Could also be a hybrid.

this is the 2nd time I looked at this thread and before I got to my own reply I looked at the fish and was like , "Oh it's probably a young Midas or Devil before adult coloration kicks in", then I got to my reply and I was like "What the hell was I thinking?" LOLOLOL
