Hi guys, I found this little guy mixed in with a bag of Kuhlii loaches. He was about and 1" when I noticed him so I put him in a seprate tank. in about 2 months he has grown from 1" to a whooping 9"!!!!!! Can you please tell me what species I have? He has white spots that form a line horizontaly down his body and white spots that form stripes vertically.

Great Fish! :)

I think noone is able to id from here correctly just by pics but from a superficial sight it seems to be a batrachus, the white spots are normal and the growth-rate could be as well depending on temperature and feeding....

There are so many Clarias species simply looking alike the same morphologically....esp. at that size....

:)
