To me, it's a lapradei.
Looks to be most likely a lap. It may possibly be a pbb, but I'm not sure.
The body patterns are telling me lap, but the headshape is telling me pbb.

I asked. It was a pbb bichir, which I have no idea what it stands for.

Bump for a good thread, especially to many newer polypterus keepers. Many amazing pictures of larger sized 30”++ bichirs, with good info on max sizes of both CB and WC bichir species

Polypterus senegalus senegalus reaching 24.5” in length and polypterus senegalus meridionalis reaching 33.6”? When did senegals grow that large?
