Pond stocking and cycling questions for my particular pond

The cat didnt get the crappie. I did some finish landscaping over the weekend too. They seem to be eating well (salad shrimp)

Sounds good, they are eating the shrimp! Feed them this solely, or about 90% of the diet. I think if you've got them on these, fill them up. Keeping quanity and water temp. in check. Once they are really hammering the shrimps, throw a couple pieces of worm, cut market shrimp/fish in the mix. Hopefully the will recognise you as the food source and start begging like dogs. Then getting them to pellets should be easier.
