More progress before the freeze. I tried to get the fan blade on too but the wife did a non-no. She decided the fan blade looked dirty so she put it in a plastic bag and moved it from my pile of car parts. Drove me nuts looking for it then asked her if she saw it. :screwy:

I suppose in the end it may be better though. I didn't torque the crankshaft pully yet.

I got the Crankshaft pully torqued yesterday just before the sleet came. Today the car is iced over. It's actually starting to melt now, but it's suppose to be below 32 tonight, so whatever doesn't dry up will freeze again but tomorrow is suppose to hit the 60s and Sunday will be in the 70s(crazy weather).

That vette is awesome. Old school style. I'd roll it.

Yes I have all 4 originals and all 4 of those blue-ish ones. It started with a blue-ish one in front going flat and would not air up at the time so I swapped it(later got it to take air) Then the valve cracked on the other front, so I put another original on. I kind of like the look cause it has the car looking jacked up. I'm trying to decide which way to go. All original or the blue ones. Those blue-ish ones are a pita. Everytime they lose air(completely flat) they won't take air unless the weight is off them. Also had a 3rd one get a nail in it.

I vote go with the originals, especially if those other ones are giving you trouble.

Keep the original rims. That way you can just take the hub caps off anytime you have to drive in a high crime area.
