Your downoi looks really good. I love downoi, it is such a nice looking plant, and grows pretty good in low light setups.

Thanks, yes downoi does have a lot going for it and I love its crinkly texture which adds contrast to tanks.

That 25gal looks great, How long did it take you to grow your carpet and what kind of substrate is that?

Cheers, the carpet (Hemianthus callichtroides) took about 6 weeks to carpet from 2 pots. The substrate is red sea florabase topped with silver sand.

Here is my planted aquarium, Its only been setup for about 4 months now so hasnt had the time to mature into a beatuiful tank "yet".

Specs
6.5x2x2ft tank
4ft Metal halide lighting with two high out put t5s
No Co2
fertz, flurish seachem 3 times a week
substrate, peat moss bottom layer sydney sand on top

Amazon sword
red tiger lilly
green tiger lilly
anubias
Vallisneria caulescens
Nymph tiger lilly
Once agin have hepas more but cant think!
