So, we see a lot of posts asking how much a certain fish is worth, and I thought it would be a good idea to get an idea about how much my fish are worth in other parts of the world. Then I thought, why not get an idea of how much a bunch of different fish are worth in different locations, some of these fish I've never seen where I live but they seem common on here so I'll add them too, but I'll have N/A beside their price.
Be sure to add in your post where you live (just country/state) and what currency you're using. Also, please try to stick to the few fish mentioned in this post, so we can get an accurate idea on price difference. Here we go, try to lay yours out similarly to this so everyone can understand:

Okay, I've tried to add an assortment of fish, and how much I pay for them (where possible), now its your turn! How much do these fish (at these sizes to avoid confusion) cost where you are?

This is what I usually find. Some stores in the area might be a little higher butI'd say this is pretty representative.

1. Silver Dollar (M. Argenteus or M. Hypsauchen) @ 6-7cm - $7 -$10
2. White Cloud Mountain Minnow (Tanichthys Albonubes) @ 1½cm - These can usually be found as feeders at some stores for $0.18. Fancier ones go up to $4
3. Common Goldfish (Carassius Auratus) @ 4-5cm - $2-$5
4. Veil and Crown Tailed Bettas (Betta Splendens) @ 3cm - Regular retail of $4 - 8, can regularly find veil for $1.99 on sale
5. More Fancy Bettas (Half Moons, Elephant Ears etc) @ 3cm - $10 and up. Highest I've seen someone pay was $40 for a koi short fin male.
6. Bronze Corydoras (Corydoras Aeneus) @ 1½cm - $3-$4
7. Black Widow/Black Skirt Tetra (Gymnocorymbus Ternetzi) @ 2cm - $2-$2.50
8. Electric Yellow Cichlid (Labidochromis Caeruleus) @ 4cm - $6-$9
9. Convict Cichlid (Amatitlania Nigrofasciata) @ 4cm - I generally don't see these for sale. Most stores can't move them. Few times I have seen them they are usually $1-$2.
10. Jardini Arowana (Scleropages Jardini) @ 20cm - Usually can find 3" babies in the $90-120 range. Larger sizes vary greatly
11. Indonesian Tiger Fish (Datnioides Microlepis) @ 20cm - this size is usually $150+ lately. Babies(.5") start off around $10 when in season and go up from there.
12. Wolf Cichlid (Parachromis Dovii) @ 20cm - Never seen any this size for sale. Last I saw was babies (2") for $10
13. Azul Peacock Bass (Cichla Piquiti) @ 15cm - Not sure
