Hey, I have three silvers that am raising in the same tank from Juvy.
Two of them have touched 12" and the smallest and youngest is quickly out growing them at 9".
Initially they were a bit aggressive to each other, lots of torn fins.
But it's all fine now. They get along perfectly. They do rarely chase each other and seem to get a high out of it
but they co-exist, compete for food, and swim together. It's beautiful.
I think you should have a minimum of three to really have a good community going. That also means more water changes and the largest possible tank size.
A Silver Aro community is the dream.
The initial fights scare a lot of people off, but juvies the same size will usually start co-existing after the first few weeks.
