Well breeding jags can be deadly, the dovii might be taken as a rival an depending on your aro he could swallow it, prob best to grow him out. Depends how bothered you are I guess, could try it... Every fish is different!

I like that fish so much you've sold me on getting one! There are two in Montreal near me at about 19.99$ CDN each, no idea of the sex though.

In your opinion how do you think a 3-4 inch dovii would fare up to breeding pair of jags (8" female and 10" male) and a 12" arro? If not it could always go in my 75 gallon to grow out a little.

I have plenty of hidding spots and the tank would be a starter (125 gallon).

I'm building a 300 Gallon and the arrowana will probably be traded or sold.

My Dovii has taken another growth spurt so is around 9"

Still shy unless he has babies.. which he does, so he likes to make sure I dont come too close to the tank or he gets very annoyed.

I got mine from Oddball and they are cracking.
