I have a 75g with 2 blood parrots and a jurapari. I lost a jurapari last week due to some kind of parasite from the LFS. I rteally like them and am interested in having only geo's. Couple ?'s
1. Do they all get along?
2. Do they all grow out the same size?
3. How many will thrive in a 75 by themselves.
4. Diet???
Thanks..want to learn as much as I can as I really find these guys interesting. Besides my kids LOVE them

years ago my dad had a large one in a 125 with two adult arows, it was a beautiful fish and as long as you provide a fine substrate and dont mind your tank being constantly redecorated. because they are cichlids i would be cautious as to how many your put into a tank, i would suggest 3 or 4 fish in a 55 gallon. provide hiding places and a flatish rock so they can lay their eggs if you want to spawn. they are mouth brooders and will pick up the eggs shortly after they are laid.
