okay one more....
One night two friends check into the same motel. Once again the clerk charges them $30, or $15 per person. After the clerk remembers the total rate is only $25 he sends the bellhop upstairs with five $1 bills to pay the two friends back. The bellhop pockets $3 and returns $2 to the hotel guests ($1 per guest). So each of the two guests got $1 back from their original $15. Therefore each paid $14 which is a total payment of $28 for the room. Now the bellhop has $3, the guests paid $28, for a total of $31....Where did the extra dollar come from?

A "Wise King" devised a contest to see who would receive the Princess hand in marriage.
The Princess was put in a 50x50 foot carpeted room. Each of her four suitors were put in one corner of the room with a small box to stand on. The first one to touch the Princess hand would be the winner and become the new King.
The rules of the test were that the contestants could not walk over the carpet, cross the plane of the carpet, or hang from anything; nor could they use anything but their body and wits (i.e. no magic or telepathy, nor any items such as ladders, block and tackles, etc.).
One suitor figured out a way and married the Princess and became the new King.

three guys are staying at a hotel which costs 30 dollars. they each pay ten dollars and go up to the room. after they leave, the guy at the counter realized he overcharged, the room is only 25$. the guy sends a worker up with five one-dollar bills to give to the men. since 5$ cant be split evenly to 3 men, he gives one dollar back to each of them, and keeps the last two for himself. if each man only ended up paying nine dollars (9 x 3= 27) and the worker has the other 2$ (27+2=29), how can that possibly add up to thirty? where did that dollar get lost? its supposed to add up to 30.....help me!!
