I don't think Green Aro ever got the chip ID, even RTG already rare or almost none exit with ID chip on it. Those brand name Aro dealers most of the time only ID those Crossback Red/Gold Blue Base, Chili Red or Platinum one, 90% Cert Aros out thee are faked. If anyone said their Aros with ID chip then ask them scan it in front of you!

It is a decent price for the fish, get it if you like it but you can probably get a better deal. If you like the fish it is worth it.

Oriental is an okay farm I think. See: http://www.arowanaclub.ca/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=116

I am 99% sure that fish was imported by the fellow here: http://www.arowanaclub.ca/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=119 , so you could always contact the owner of that business if you had a concern about that cert.

To answer your question, $600 is kind of the "going rate" for internet based sales of a quality RTG. If you are looking for what looks like a real deal in the GTA for an RTG check out http://www.arowanaclub.ca/forums/showthread.php?p=48495#post48495 (just noticed this aro is the same one in the GTAquaria thread posted earlier...)

So am I not allowed to own an arowana without out a "real" certificate?

The cert means nothing it's just a bit of wall candy

The most important bit of paperwork is the article 10 which is a yellow sheet of paper issued by cities I proves the fish was imported legally
