Guys this gonna sound real dumb but how do you run your tests.... In mean donyounput the test tube right on the color chart and compare? Cuz I cant tell if nitrates are 5, 10 or 20... leaning towards 10 I think.... or do tou put the bottle up to theough away from the card cuz when indo that it looks like all readings are less

Nobody can tell if it's 5, 10, or 20. That's a common complaint around here. Pretty much what I do is...if nitrates are orange, it's ok. if nitrates turn red, then it's time to change the water out.
