i actually dont think it will take 4 totes to do the jobfrom what i remember it was 4 or 5 drawer tower with 2 totes or one tote.
i got that sump running a 75 and i can easily run piping and make another over flow and it will filter both my 40 breeder and 75.i mean its just an idea. it will be alot cheaper then buying a tank or sump to run
Well my tank will be 740 gallons.. The reason I said I would need 4 totes wouldn't be for media space (I will be running a cubic ft of k1) the reason I would need that many totes would be for just total water volume for when I kick the pump off.

Thanks for all the pics. There's some good ideas out there... I'm looking more for what you guys have used as a sump more than whats in the sump.

Pm Wednesday13 its his tsn pond that I was talking about. I do t know exactly how he set his up. But if his can support a 10' or so pond it could easily support that tank

Me and Wednesday talk often I'll see what I can get out of him, never even seen his setup on his pond

Ya, looking to stay under the 100$ price range, if I go any higher I may as well just order a sheet of acrylic and build one myself

I'm just using a 150 gal. With some plants

Does the plant only method catch all the small particles and keep the upper tank clear? I've always wondered about that
