You know I ended up removing it...But I did read an article from Nealle Monks(sp) Where he says The texas can also be found in brackish rivers near the Gulf of Mexico...Also when I bought it at the LFS they have a few customers with these in brackish and or salt....That doesn't make it a brackish fish maybe just a brackish tolerant fish...Anyway I did remove it....

I just found the article with Neale Monks talking about the Texas and brackish water.....He states the it would definitely be ok under1.010 but he wasn't sure about anything above that...My tank is at 1.017 so I removed it

A definite trophy/center piece for a brackish tank IMO. I hope to have some soon. I'de like to see a super brackish tank full of these and striped scats. W/ FW lion fish hidden throughout
