So my alligator gar just bit me...

never been bit by any gar but i have had my hand cut by one tail slapping me while i was doing a water change
Have never been bit by my gars except this one time while I took them out of the pond to do a full clean, the big one managed to jump out of the big ass net flopping around my maintenance guy who was helping me trying to grab it but it slipped out of his hands and bit him across his palm where the thumb is connected to. Thankfully it was just 3-4 cuts and not a full on snap bite. The gar was about 60cm 24" at the time. The only two fish that have bit me and caused a decent amount of bleeding was done by a channa micro and hoplias Mala. The funny thing is that I inflicted more damage on myself from the channa micro bite than the fish did. When I got bit, got startled and yanked my arm straight up in the process taking off the entire canopy with my forearm. Lol while there was only a few teeth punctures from the fish, i actually have a scar from the real gash on my forearm from that incident.
