So should I breed convicts or not?

I have a 10g, and I'm being tempted to get a pair of convicts, because I really want to start breeding fish. There is dark blue gravel, and a nice rock in the corner of the tank that about 6 inches tall, with a couple big holes in it. If I decide to get a coupel of convicts, should I get another type of rock or something?

convicts would be nice but you should get at least a 20g for the pair and the fry. and a plant pot or a flat piece of rock or slate. good luck if you get them.

We have a saying at our house, to breed convicts just add water!! Terracotta pots broke in half make a great breeding area for them also.

Convicts will spawn anywehere but PREFER dark caves over flat open peices of slate. But they will lay thier eggs no matter what circumstances you provide them.
