Species of the Month (December)- Amphilophus Citrinellus

Mine is F1 from wild white breeding pair. But that's a good question. I've noticed that the ones I have purchased from an lfs are Very aggressive from very small size versus the ones I've bought from vendors which are more docile And easy going til around 6" or so.

Cebosound, that deep red on your male is AMAZING! i really love that dark color, i dont think ive seen one with such deep red before

and yeah midas are awesome!! makes me wish i would have kept my guy, but just not enough tank space for everything i want to keep

Snapped these during some routine maintenance this morning with my Blackberry excuse the quality. Here's another one of my A. citrinellum... An F1 what I'm almost positive is a male...? What do you guy's think?

I think he/she looks awesome i can never tell how to sex these unless vented.
