Tank size: 120x40x50

Intended stocking plan:
1 Palmas sp. (Which has a more elaborate marking?)
1 Delhezi
1 Teugelsi
3 Ropefish

Have I overdone it?
I was also wondering if there might be space for some smaller shoaling fish like Rainbows.

Teugelsi will get too big. There's space for the rainbows, but try and make sure they're around 5" or so to prevent the Polys from trying to eat them.

What is a good number and species of "shoaling" (very loosely) fish that I can include?

The intent is to provide some midwater or surface activity and colour when polypterus or the ropes are a bit more sedentary. I'm alright if the fish gets eaten assuming they don't all disappear over a short period of time, or that they don't cause the bichirs any harm.

Does this describe your experience for polypterus tanks, in the sense that they can be sedentary sometimes?

maybe 5 or so boesemani rainbows? I think they're a CARES fish, so that would be cool, and they're really pretty. I'm not sure how big they get, though

Decent sized giant danios could work, maybe a couple angel fish,
