Stocking a monster native fish aquarium, looking for suggestions

How was the drum as an aquarium fish? Worth keeping?

How big was the longnose?

The Drum was awesome, I'd say it was one of my top 3 fav, the Gar was awesome too. Well the tank was 48" wide, he was probably around 30" or so.

The Drum sifted through the gravel pretty much all day and when he was in the light, there were all sorts of colors on him, most notably blues/purples.

Im confused on why you think for species like Musky and perch you need cold waters. Both of these species can do well in temps over 74 degrees unless you're planning on running the tank over 80 degrees
