Surprise 10 gallon fire eel tank...... HELP

Have you owned spiney eels before? if not do a lot of research in particular to feeding. as for the rest... its a craps shoot.. fire eels are delicate when young, and very tempermental towards water quality. monitoring the cycle is key, so a good test kit is needed not "nice to have" You want to maintain your cycle at a lower level then normal so your complete cycle will take longer. best suggestion so far has been to seed the 10 gallon w/ pre-existing cycled media from another tank. size wise he should be fine I the 10 gallon until you can get another larger tank 1-2 monthes. Make sure it has plenty of hiding space to avoid it from jumping out of the tank in the meantime, and at that size/age they are extreamely reclusive anyways.
