Hey guys, sorry if this has been posted elsewhere; but for anyone into their aquascaping, the father figure of it, Takashi Amano, has died of pneumonia aged 61 :(

Quite gutting if you're a fan of his work, he really contributed heavily to aquascaping, and if you've ever heard of amano shrimps; he's credited with bringing them into the hobby.

If you're interested in his works, quick Google search will bring you up to speed!

I loved his tanks, each one was a work of art.

A titan of the hobby, so sad (and so young). My prayers go out to his family. Imagine the displays he is building in heaven!

His philosophy and knowledge will sorely be missed.
