I'd say a minimum of 200G with a minimum footprint of 30" width. You must have at least a lot of filtration with a minimum of 6x turnover. A sump with a lot of plants will also help a lot in water purification.

I was about to suggest asking NAOS cause he has one, but he already responded, I have mine in a 5x3(wide)x2 and they defiantely like a lot of space, they can be overly aggressive too but only to fish of their choosing. (mines about 8 months since I got him, and hes grown from about 7" to around 14"
