Great article. What's the purpose of the two flesh projections on their face? Do you still just feed them minnows and goldfish? how often do you feed them? do they show any aggression/interaction towards one another? Happen to know if there are any other species in their genus?

they are nostrals. And I dont know their purpose. I dont even know what to speculate!

I feed them Rosie Reds, as I mentioned above. I feed them everyother day, as I mentioned above.

They do not show any type of aggression towards each other.

I believe there is no other sp in their genus. Although there are a few other genus's of FW snakes.

im interested in some i have a question can they live out of water for any amount of time. how big do they get and can you tell me how much they cost and where i could get one

parents wont let me have normal snakes maybe if i tell her they cant live out of water they wouldnt be scared of it like they would other snakes thankyou

I see them in the kingsnake.com classifieds a few times a year. usually they are about 100 ($70-$120)

I want to get some eventually, when i have a house and not an apartment.
