YES! Dont forget how much the plants filter also. I see you are still running a powerhead so fish must not mind the flow. Everything looks great!

I say you cant over filter unless the fish are noticeably tired from swimming against the flow and have nowhere to rest.

Now im just showing off. Rummynose tetras red color fades as water quality declines... through almost 3 feet of liquid nothing their noses are shining brighter than Rudolph's.

I think this thread should have more posts than all the dirty tank threads combined. Lets see those tanks so clean any fish would be happy to call them home

Thisis my 29g with a divider. All my african cichlid fry are in here. 2 box filters, 4 sponge filters, and 2 aqueon quietflow10 hib filters. Basically just here to stay seeded for other endeavours. But still counts right

Sometimes understocking works as well as overfiltering

Clear water is different than clean water. Having several power filters on a tank means that there are several power filters that need to be regularly cleaned. Which usually doesn't happen.

My experience that less can be more when it comes to filtration...which is why I run a 50+ tank fishroom with a couple of air pumps.

125 gallon CA/SA setup that's a bit overstocked. Eheim Pro 2 canister, Aqua Clear 110, Fluval C4 power filters and 2 large sponge filters. Keeps it crystal clean and clear. I sometimes miss my midweek water change due to working out of town, but you can't even tell.
