you know peaches that you should add the conditioner and stuff BEFORE you add your new water.... this might help with the hose dilemma

I usually try and do a tank a day, fri-125, sat-55, sun-40 and 20 growout, mon-75, tues-35, wed-20 growout. I change between 50 and 30% of the water depending on the tank.

I change my water once a week and it is generally a pretty good %. At least 50%. Most of my tanks are really understocked.

I do about 25% every other day in my overstocked 40g.

My 75g and 125g I do about 50% every week but they are lightly stocked.

15-50% Weekly on all my tanks.

I can do the pair of 20's in my room in like 15 minutes. The 75g and 110g take a little longer but the amount of actual work is maybe 5-10 minutes. I just drop the siphon in, turn on the faucet to create the suction and go sit down. When it's at the level I want to change I just flip the deal at the faucet and it starts refilling the tank. I add the Prime and make sure the temp coming out is very close to tank temps. Then go sit back down, once it's full I just coil the Python hose back up.

For those saying it takes a long time, ditch the bucket and get a Python or similar device. It will make it 10000x faster.
