No hybridization that I am aware of. I bought the Male (marbled) from Kolosus. The Female was captive bred of pure standard motoro.

The tail spotting on all the pups is very vibrant.

Three of the original five are healthy and lively. The pup bitten by an adult perished.

The litter was comprised of four males and one female. Two males are dead. The remaining two males are very lively. So is their sister.

Looking good! They are about the same size as my recent pups and they even look alike (apart from 5 out of 6 of mine having a small part missing in their disk in front of their mouths). Have you tried feeding them live black worms? Mine really loved them until I switched them to blood worms and market shrimp (and occasionally minced up market prawn).

How big is your swimming pool/pond that I see in the last pic? I'd love to do that in my basement if I had room.
