3.5ft hybrid in 4500

Thug, the smaller hybrid grew by several inches to over 2 feet after a year in timeout in a 240 gal tank and got moved to the jumbo 4500 gal. Not shown in the video but he has been well in the new tank and today, 2 days later, he took a large chunk of mullet.

Paroons are being difficult, refusing mullet but attacking Thug the hybrid instead. Plus the season of migration and courtship is near, so the need to bulk up and predatory behavior grow more intense.

Thug got away with less damage than I feared. I thought a lot of skin would necrotize but after only a couple of weeks, he is doing 90% better:

Thug doesn't like a new RTC in his tank, aims to kill it:

So he goes back to the jumbo 4500 gal. He was more or less ready anyway. Second try.
