I'll soon be starting on the 4'x8'x37" plywood tank with 30" high viewing panel and 3/4" low iron glass. My question is if I use MAX ARC laminating epoxy and fiberglass together for two coats and after the epoxy has fully cured can I use pond armor as a top coat or should I just stick with Max ARC and just add colorant to the mix? Reason I wont be using Pond Shield for laminating with fiberglass is it is to thick to do so and will make a huge mess. I will be posting some more questions about perimeter and top bracing in another thread.

Composites can be bonded securely just by sanding the areas to be glued with 400grit sandpaper. Cleaning it really good too. Simple, but make sure you scarify the surfaces completely.

Thanks that helps me sleep a little better!
