will temperatures around 82-84 be bad for my flower horn....I have him with two peacock bass who prefer warm water so should i drop the temp? I don't know if it's the temperature however, number one it's colour is amazing these days and number two it scratches once and a while ususally at night time...possibly because the light has heated the water so much...i don't know what to do

I have my male and female flowerhorn at about 80-81 degrees and they are doing fine. The female lays eggs every once in a while so she must like it. No babies though I have to use a divider, otherwise the male tears her up.
