Weird Kenya Trees?

Ive had some kenya trees and recently a few pieces turned kinda clear and borke off. I thought that the pieces died after touching some sunburst polyps but one of them re-attached to another rock. Has anyone ever seen this happen?

Its how they reproduce asexually. Mine typically does this when stressed, I've herd of some that fragment all the time and become like weeds in the tank.

kenya trees will split very offten expecially if you had a certian piece for very long.
