Thanks. Honestly as long as I catch anything I'll be happy. We'd going on a charter for one of the days to catch marlin so that should be pretty rewarding I'd imagine :). I'll be sure to stock up on leaders and big hooks.

I actually use a pretty small hook otherwise they just take the bait constantly and not the hook. Not sure if where im fishing is a btr nursery or what but my friend and I caught 14 in less than an hr and a half but all were under 2' long. I hooked into one good size one 4'+ but didnt land it

Here's my haul as of Wednesday:

1 Spot
1 Redfish
20 Black Sea Bass
3 Sand Sharks

Hoping to get a Flounder before I leave and maybe run into a Salt Cat as well.

If you can catch blue crabs, they are the best bait you can get

I actually did catch 1 while I was down there but they move so fast and just burry into holes before I can catch them. Doesn't much matter though since I'm gone now but thanks for the tip!

Cast nets and mullet work wonders down there I've caught drum in the surf up to 36". Last week I was down in the Charleston area and finally caught and used live blue crabs and thats another bait I'd highly suggest. Went 2/3 on Bonnethead in around a 3 hour time frame both fish were 36"+
