What are these?

I got a couple snails to put in my planted tank. That was yesterday. Now on the glass I am seeing these almost microscopic white things crawling around. They are so small and looks like they are moving around on their own. I guess they are alive. There is no way i can take a pic, they are that small. Does anyone know what these are?

Probably Planaria. Harmless to your fish. Increase water changes and gravel vacs. Cut down on feedings

there hasnt been food put in there at all there arent any fish. just c02 and ferts

hmmm. Where did u get the gravel from? I'm still pretty sure its planaria.

its black aquarium sand. didnt see them till i got the snails. they were on in there for about 12 hours before i started spotting these things

was the gravel brand new? Try adding some salt to your tank water. I hear planaria are very intolerant to salt.

if you want to keep the snails, dont add salt. add some guppies. they will eat whatever it is.

Any sort of small fish would be your best bet. I had some in my tank when I first set it up by using gravel from another tank. I threw a few baby mollies in there and they took care of it.

Salt will also damage several plants.

cant be planaria planarians are flat worms that look like arrows.
its probably hydras or water bears both fit your description.

hydras are harmful to fry and other small fish. water bears are harmless
