This is because the way they came up with the price of ST is by inches.
1 inch = $250 say.
A 10 inches ST will be $2500.
So, naturally traders will never let them go at small sizes....it is not as if STs are 12 inches at birth....can't be right?
who cares what it is its nice and thats all that counts
i wouldnt worry about your aro killing it i would worry about the tiger killing your aro
the reason most people let nice tigers go is because of conflict with aros
my aro is not the best chilli red but it gets on with most tigers
one snap from a large tiger and say good by to a barbel or even a broken front peck fin which just wont heal on a aro or it will heal but with a big lump
im lucky as my large ST and aro are well matched some weeks the aro is boss then the next week its the ST whos boss
