What's the average size a florida gar is expected to reach in a tank???

I defo think floridarians should keep some in their ponds, to see their potential growth

I live in south florida and I've seen some good sized ones the biggest probably being 3.5 feet long and about as thick as my arm It was resting by the bank and I was so tempted to grab it with my hands

Yah true but I have parents if have to talk into and they still aren't big on going monster I have to wait for my own place but believe me something like that is in the future for me lol
