I've always considered a 125 as the entry level monster tank. You can't keep a real monster in one, but they can still have that WOW factor to the uninitiated

I would imagine anything 6'x2', but I don't keep anything this big. It is obviously subject to relativity.

I don't consider my 150 a "monster" tank.
More of a gateway tank & my wife is a enabler.

I have had some real mean "monster" fish in it through out the years though.

In 1980 when I got a 55 I thought I had reached it. For me 500 is the threshold. I would say for most people walking in a house and seeing a 150 that seems big. People come in my living room and see the 240 and freak. Then out to the fishroom...... it's all relative.
