My 75 has experienced sudden algae growth and I am simply wondering if it is normal or harmful. This is the first tank that I've even lightly planted and I have a marineland double bright LED on it. Some of the plants are slow growers but most have literally taken off. I read somewhere that slow growing plants under a lot of light can cause algae growth. Anyway, help/answers appreciated! Pics:

Shoulder deep in a tank
Look like diatoms, I wouldn't worry about it.
They tend to disappear on their own but you can speed it up by manually cleaning it off and vaccing it out.

This is a new tank right?

This is normal algae for a tank thats going through the cycle process. Just leave it be and it will go away on its own. But it is Diatoms.
