Land of the flea and home of the whopper.
Except for males and OCCASIONALLY females, Betas are usually peaceful...although they MAY attack long-finned fish that LOOK like other Betas. Also, "nippy" fish target Betas and Mollies and Swordtails for some reason will try to kill Betas

I know...Meanies I was planning on a big shoal of 18 Tiger Barbs but I won't risk it.Apparently if they are in groups of 8+ they don't fin nip but it's better to be sire than sorry...One of my LFS's had giant tiger barbs!They must've been atleast 9cm they were big ones =]]

By the way, you cannot keep Whiteseams in a community.
That is just bound for trouble.
You shouldn't even consider it if you have cichlids.

Pics? Never seen a tiger barb at almost 4 inches.
