The eggs didn't bother me and weren't too numerous. They were laid mainly on the bogwood. They must have broken down naturally I think. I wonder whether they were only laid in the beginning when the snail may have mated as I don't remember them being an issue later on.

It depends where you live, maybe look for them near estuaries or brackish rivers, I actually found them while I was hanging out on a riverbank stairs.
I live in the midwest, several hundred miles from brackish or saltwater, and from what I understand they only breed in brackish water. Still very cool, thanks for sharing the pics!
