Will this oscar keep his blue tint?

blue is not in a Oscar repertoire. sure not from lighting?

The light on the background looks blue too.

Could it be dyed/injected? Its done with many other fish...

Either way it does look cool, although i wouldnt support it if it was faked. Interesting look lol

As LogiBear pointed out, it could be dyed, this (along with designer tattooing, and fin clipping) seems to be becoming more and more popular these days. I have seen cichlids ( especially the ever popular mutant blood parrot strains) show up in LF stores with many un-natural colors, and designs.
If it is dyed, it probably won't last
