I remember years ago when I tried that with my cousin's short fin Plakat betta fighter.....Put 2 Convict babies like that for the Betta to practice fighting.....came back an hour later and the baby Cons killed the betta.

nice looking betta
never seen one other than in movies so agressive, well 1 of mine would get close when he'd see himself in the reflection of the mirror...but otherwise...nope

I once tried putting a betta in with a couple of similar sized fire mouths. At first the betta would flare and chase away the fire mouths and I thought cool the betta could hold its own. But the next day I found the betta all beat uped and most of its fins gone.
