hw to get rid of it?

Hiya stereo, I am sure one of the people with more invert experience will add some info but I have found that every wild caught cratfish I have ever seen had commensual flatworms and that they are harmless.

Those sound like leeches. are they attached by one end and the other end waves around? are they mostly near the eyes? they are not dangerous unless the numbers get really high. one way to get them off is put her in another container with new water, and when she gets uncomfortable, many of them will leave, then quickly put her back into another container with new water. repeate until they are mostly gone. I'm not sure what kinds of meds are safe for her but will kill the leeches. Good luck.

Btw, lobsters have some of the most interesting parasites, so it could be a whole host of other thing. try a google image search for "lobster parasites" if you don't think they are leeches, or if you have a good macro lenz you could take a pic and I could try to identify them.

yaya!!! they are attached at both ends...then they like sucking the lob eyes...
after she molted...i saw 3-4 on her new shells..then the worms crawl back to her new shell....
thx for the info

My saltwater spiny red lobster had the exact same thing on it, no problems ever. I was worried at first, but after seein it a few times, never seemed to affect it in any way. Should be alright, might be even symbiotic....;)

To my understanding of what U said here,do I put the infected lobster in new fully conditioned water or do I put some of the old tank water into the container then add new water to the container that has the old tank water
